Found this on the Indigo Shire Website (it was a chance browsing, I don't usually frequent such sites. I'm usually on Farkin or something far more interesting and cooler than council sites... really I am!)
A public meeting has been called to outline the future management of the Beechworth Mountain Bike Park.
The Beechworth Mountain Bike Park is a valuable recreation and tourism destination situated 2km's from the centre of Beechworth. The Beechworth Mountain Bike Park will play a key role in developing North East Victoria as Australia's premier cycling destination, as recently outlined in the Murray to Mountains Cycle Tourism Strategy.
Community representatives are being sought to sit on the Committee of Management, particularly those with environmental management skills.
Community members are encouraged to attend the public meeting, which will be chaired by Indigo Shire Mayor, Cr Vic Issell.
Any enquiries can be directed to Clayton Neil, Cycle Tourism Officer on (03) 5722 0777 or via email
